Dr. Thais Varzoni, PhD has over five years of high-level experience helping people with their infertility journey. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and two Master’s degrees in Counseling and Neuropsychology.

Women’s mental health is her main passion and focus. She is a member of and trained by the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and is also a member of the Society for the Psychology of Women (APA Chapter 35).

Dr. Thais Varzoni has performed over a thousand psychological evaluations for aspiring parents, donors, and gestational carriers going through IVF third-party cycles. She also loves counseling patients and navigating the fertility road with them. 

Dr. Thais Varzoni's approach focuses on all aspects of women's mental health. Her expertise and patient-centered philosophy immediately put patients at ease, and she is dedicated to providing each one with world-class treatment and attention. 

Outside of work, Dr. Varzoni enjoys traveling, exploring different cuisines, spending time with her family and friends, and watching some "guilty-pleasure" TV shows.

Dr. Jennifer Lail, Ph.D. has large experience with psychological evaluations for patients going through IVF third-party cycles and has also worked in a variety of settings, including neuropsychology clinics, hospitals, and private practice.

Having created her own family through IVF, Dr. Lail approaches her work with personal insights, as well as professional experience, and is excited to provide consultations, evaluations, and support for donors, gestational carriers, and intended parents.

Dr. Lail is known for her compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy and assessments. She believes that each individual has unique strengths and challenges, and utilizes an integrative approach to evaluation, treatment, and consultation, to address their specific needs and goals and to promote mental health and well-being.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lail is actively involved in research and education. She is typically involved in several research projects related to parenting. She also teaches and enjoys providing supervision to postdoctoral residents.

Dr. Lail is a proud military spouse, which has taken her family around the world and afforded them numerous adventures. Outside of work, Dr. Lail enjoys the beach, exploring the great outdoors, spending time with her family, and playing with their three dogs.

Dr. Lyndsay Elliott

Dr. Lyndsay Elliott brings over 20 years of clinical experience to the Mind360 team. Having served as an expert witness and evaluator, Dr. Elliott is skilled in the interview process to address the individual needs of each case. Her clinical practice has specialized in a variety of women’s issues, including infertility. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know her clients and their individual story that is a part of the fertility journey.

 

Dr. Elliott is a proud wife and mother of her two beautiful children. She spends all of her free time with her family, adventuring to new places and making memories.

Dr. Tes Tuason, Professor, Clinical Director of the CMHC program at UNF, and Licensed Psychologist, did her Ph.D. at the University of Albany and her postdoc at the University of Utah. Born and raised in the Philippines, she learned resilience of spirit and using one’s personal power for transformative teaching and social justice research. Tes has received several awards: Outstanding International Leadership 2008, Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award 2009 & 2019, Outstanding Faculty Scholarship Award 2012, Susan B. Anthony Award 2011, Faculty Excellence Fellow 2021; all affirming deep connection and a wealth of mentoring experiences with her students, and solid advocacy for their counseling training. Her research, over 50 publications, focuses on economic inequality, minority identity as it relates to counseling, child/adolescent issues utilizing family systems perspective, and evidence-based intervention in community mental health. An external reviewer for her promotion letter once wrote, “Tes is a faculty member you not only want to promote, but to clone.” 

 

Through teaching, research, and practice, she continues to work to give the underserved a voice and to make the face of the poor and marginalized more concrete, palpable, and within reach of alleviation efforts. 

Dr. Sierra Trainor

Dr. Sierra Trainor is a licensed psychologist of almost a decade and has been in the mental health field for over 17 years. She holds her doctorate and master’s degrees in clinical psychology. She has extensive training and experience in psychological assessment, therapy, and clinical supervision. Dr. Trainor is known for her compassionate, empathic, and comprehensive approach to clinical interviewing and assessment. As a staunch feminist, she is passionate about women’s healthcare. She is excited to be part of the Mind 360 team to help women and their families navigate their fertility journey.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Trainor enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a psychologist, and their dog and cats. She enjoys learning holistic healing modalities, as well as volunteering at her local animal shelter.
